The official Genshin Impact social media accounts have finally revealed that Yae Miko will be a part of the upcoming update 2.5 which should arrive mid-February.
Yae Miko has certainly become one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact . She has already made two appearances in the last two update previews (2.0 and 2.1) and according to the recent live stream, she will be the main character that takes us through the second part of Inazuma.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally revealed the art for one of the upcoming characters - Yae Miko. After many speculations, she's confirmed to be a five-star Electro character. Nothing mentioned on the official art or the Twitter description indicates her weapon type.
However, A recent leak on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed some additional information about this fan-favourite character. Apparently, her weapon of choice will be Catalyst and as predicted before, she will be using the Electro element. In addition to that, she is expected to be a strong DPS character which is usually not the case with Catalyst users.

According to multiple leaks , Yae Miko's Elemental Skill will allow her to dash a short distance. This dash will have three charges leaving a totem that will be able to attack. Another character that was expected to join Yae Miko is Ayaka's brother, Kamisato Ayato. It seems like miHoYo decided to delay his arrival once again even though he was a part of Itto's official character teaser.
