Capcom have released a story trailer for Iceborne, the latest expansion to the dev's golden goose Monster Hunter: World. Of course, E3 is right around the corner and Capcom reminded that they'll be saving the best for their presentation.

"Our newest trailer highlights the story, and starts to unveil some of the mysteries hidden beneath layers of ice and snow, while leaving us with even more questions about this new land and the mythical Velkhana", Capcom wrote, admitting they'll save the best for E3.

Thankfully, we don't have to wait too long and we hope to get a much better look at Monster Hunter: World's expansion Iceborne.

If you happen to walk by Capcom's Monster Hunter: World booth, you can test your mettle in two new quests - Hunt a Banbaro and Hunt a Tigrex, both of which take place in Hoarfrost Reach.

"Banbaro is a brand new monster capable of picking up a variety of elements of the environment (boulders… trees…) and bulldozing them around with attacks that change in size depending on the object. And Tigrex is just… unyielding!", they said.

Capcom will lug a "monstrous" amount of Monster Hunter: World demo stations so you needn't worry about capacities. You can have a go at Iceborn with a group of friends if you wish, and see what it's all about.

Monster Hunter: World's E3 appearances start on Tuesday, 11 June 2019 at 11am, with a MHW: Iceborne Developer Showcase, followed by a lengthy demo hosted by VampyBitMe, with a break in between for some Street Fighter League matches.

Iceborne's demos will continue until June 13, so there will be plenty of time for test drives as well as poster signings at the end of each day.

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne picks up after the events of the original game, and the official launch date is 06 September 2019. Note that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will launch first, with the Steam version getting an update in the winter.
