Capcom have announced that as of Friday, 22 March 2019, a juiced up, i.e. arch-tempered Zorah Magdaros will be wandering Monster Hunter: World on Steam, with the craftable equipment including Zorah γ armour series and Origin Layered Armor.
Zorah Magdaros will continue to arch-temper its way in Monster Hunter: World until 04 April 2019 at 23:59 UTC, so you've got almost two weeks to slay the beast and get what you came for.
Capcom reminded that you can tell Arch-tempered monsters by a subtle metallic gleam and that taking on Zorah Magdaros' Event Quest will make the frame around the monster look different - you'll know it when you see it.
As for the requirements, Arch-tempered Zorah Magdaros hunters will require Hunter Rank 50 or higher to take the quest on. As usual, Capcom left themselves some leeway by adding that "the availability of this quest is subject to change without prior notice."
As we already said, Monster Hunter: World players who slay the beast will get a chance for Zorah γ armor series and Origin Layered Armor, although it's likely that you'll end up needing a couple of attempts.
We're not sure whether it's intentional or not, but the arrival of Arch-tempered Zorah Magdaros coincides with the launch of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. While it's nothing Capcom will lose sleep over, it's likely to draw away some of the Monster Hunter: World crowd.
When it comes to Steam, doubly so as Capcom aren't quite spoiling Monster Hunter: World's PC players with content. In fact, PS4 players have already had a go at Arch-tempered Zorah Magdaros back in October 2018, so Capcom's team are sure taking their sweet time porting it over to PC.
You probably know that Geralt of Rivia has made his entrance in Monster Hunter: World, but only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles - PC players will have to wait longer.
We really hope that Monster Hunter: World's update schedule is unified, or at least brought a bit closer by the time has launched in autumn 2019, which at the current tempo is one PC content update away.
