EA have revealed the closed alpha dates for the upcoming MMO shooter Anthem. The testing will run for only two days and it starts on 08 December 2018. Registrations are now open on EA Community Playtesting site until 03 December 2018.
Electronic Arts are now taking registrations for the upcoming closed alpha testi of their MMO shooter Anthem. The closed alpha is set to start on 08 December 2018 and run until 09 December 2018. It's part of EA's Community Playtesting program which is a place where you can register, but keep in mind that space is very limited.
For those who miss it, EA has a waiting list but still, not everyone on the list will be able to join. Those who make it will be notified by email or can check their status on EA Community Playtesting website.
The closed alpha will run on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and there will be multiple sessions across the two days. Players can participate in all of them but can only sign up to play on one platform.
Those with slower internet will be happy to hear that a preload will be available, so that way they can get everything up and running before the closed alpha starts. Those who pre-ordered Anthem or have EA Access or Origin Access memberships will still have to register as the alpha is not tied to any of these.
Everything players experience in-game will have to keep for themselves. Talking about the game, streaming or sharing on social media will be forbidden as it falls under strict NDA.
EA did not share any information about in-game content or activities that will be available during the alpha as their main focus will be server and matchmaking testing.
This will be the second closed alpha test for Anthem and Bioware already made some changes after the first one, increasing loot drops and difficulty.
If you're looking forward to playing Anthem, register for closed alpha and check the more detailed blog post on EA's website. Also, take a look at detailed Javelin customisation.
Anthem will release on 22 February 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
