Sledgehammer Games' founders, Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield, have decided to leave the studio in Aaron Halon's hands. The duo took Activision up on their offer of "new executive duties" within the company. Sledgehammer Games was founded back in 2009.

Well, it's safe to say PUBG's downward slope is slowly turning into a Steam trend, a concerning thought indeed. Don't buy into the headlines though - if PUBG is a game that's going to die soon, then other titles already on the market don't even qualify as having been born yet.

OK, so it may be a bit too early to sound the alarm but according to the numbers, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has shed players for the first time. The game's stellar growth in China seems to have stopped as well and we're not sure that the company’s launch of two free PUBG mobile games in China is helping.

PUBG's anti-cheat update delayed

PUBG Corp delayed the latest anti-cheat update due to an "unexpected issue". During a sweep of helper programs that alter the graphics or aid gameplay in some way, BattleEye went ahead and blocked ReShade. You'll need to re-install the game only if its files have been already damaged.

One million cheaters banned from PUBG

PUBG's problem with cheaters is still growing in spite ever tightening anti-tamper measures. BattlEye's Twitter account reported that more than one million players had been banned in January 2018 alone. More measures are on the way.

PUBG's 3D replay feature usage is on the rise

Mikonet, the Seoul-based gaming technology company that brought 3D replay and Death Cam options to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has seen an increased number of players using the new features. They are currently developing A.I. driven cinematic highlights as well.

Fortnite patch 2.4.0 delayed

Epic Games had delay version 2.4.0 of Fortnite due to some issues that are 'taking [them] longer than expected to fix'. In order to fix the bugs that are causing some issues with in-game building, the devs are reverting to the building bar system that was present in V.2.2.0.
