The Soroboreans DLC for Outward is just two weeks away as Deep Silver and Nine Dots Studio confirmed that the release date is June 16, 2020 on PC. Consoles will have to wait a bit.

PC players will get The Soroboreans DLC just two weeks from now but the console community will need to wait until July 7. While the wait is not that long, the anticipation is likely strong among the fans.

The DLC will cost $19.99 / €19.99 / £16.99 and the pages on Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store are already up. However, the DLC couldn't be purchased at the time of writing but the button is bound to appear sometime soon.

According to the announcement, the DLC is "filled to the brim with new content that will add a breath of fresh air" to Outward as it is supposed to make players "worried about a lot more than starving to death, dehydration" and other survival mechanics.

There are several new features coming with The Soroboreans but here are a few highlights. Corruption is the new game mechanic that will affect players in different ways and in case they don't get rid of it in time, it could spell their demise. So far it sounds much like the corruption in Conan Exiles.

New skill trees and status effects should bring a bit of freshness to the regular combat. The Hex Mage and The Speedster skill trees are pretty self-explanatory as they will give you a new way to play the game while the status effects are apparently able to twist the reality for the character.

Gauntlets are a new weapon type for the times when you get bored of killing people with the regular stuff and decide to simply beat the enemies down into dust.

Dungeons are meant to offer great rewards for those who go into them and wade through the interconnected places so it should be able to keep the players on their toes.
