TinyBuild releasing six games on the Switch

Dynamic Pixels and TinyBuild are getting ready to see their survival horror game Hello Neighbor on Nintendo's hybrid console. In addition to Hello Neighbor, five more games published by TinyBuild are set to launch for the Switch.

Metal Gear Survive gameplay video splits fanbase

It was abundantly clear to anyone but Konami that the course they decided to take with the Metal Gear series will produce a lot of disgruntled fans, as if Hideo Kojima's split with the company wasn't enough.

Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition out now

Capcom's Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Owners of the base game can download Not a Hero DLC for free. End of Zoe DLC is included in Gold Edition, and it's also available to download as an update if you are a Season Pass owner.

Metal Gear Survive will release in early 2018

If you are among the five or so Metal Gear fans who hold the firm belief that the series could do with more zombies and multiplayer co-op then you are in luck. Konami has now disclosed a release date for the title and it's coming in early 2018.

Dead by Daylight is free on Steam until next week

Behaviour Interactive's asymmetrical horror survival title Dead by Daylight will be free for a trial run up until the end of this week on Steam. During the same time, the title and all of its DLC are available at a 50 per cent discount.

Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package

Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package will become available for PlayStation 4 owners on 05 December, 2017. The bundle will contain all downloadable content released for the game. Players on Xbox One, Steam and Windows 10 will receive the all-new “Capcom Heroes” mode as a free update when Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package is released.

Darkwood developers upload their own game to The Pirate Bay

Darkwood released a short while ago after over 4 years of development, and the game is already up on The Pirate Bay - uploaded by the developers themselves. Acid Wizard Studio wants everyone except for key re-sellers to be able to enjoy the game.

Black Mirror - a reboot

King Art Games and Thq Nordic are working on a Black Mirror reboot. The game will feature a new gameplay element: vision-like apparitions. A playable demo will be available at Thq Nordic's booth at gamescom 2017.

Perception PC review | Stumbling around in the dark

Perception is an adventure game with a lot going for it, and while the mechanical adaptation of echolocation adds a lot to overall atmosphere, lackluster story delivery and an obnoxious protagonist break overall tone far too frequently to allow for proper immersion.

Scorn - the second gameplay trailer delayed

Ebb Software, the developer team behind the horror game Scorn have delayed the second gameplay trailer for their upcoming title. They did, however release a couple of screenshots to tide us over until the real stuff gets here.

Last chance to get Alan Wake on Steam

Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake is being taken off Steam due to an expiring music license 7 years after its release and the horror title will be 90 per cent off, in its final 48 hours on the platform. Last call for anyone still looking to add the game to their library.

Prey - review roundup

Bethesda sending out review copies in a less than timely fashion only means reviews will be late, not absent. Almost a week has passed since Prey's launch and there are enough opinions floating around the internet now to justify a roundup. The results are more mixed than usual.

Introversion are releasing a new game called Scanner Sombre. The game's premise is simple: you have a headset and a scanner and you use them to navigate your pitch black surroundings. The release date is set for 26 April.

Prey will have an hour long demo before launch, but not on PC

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will have exclusive access to an hour long demo for Pray on 27 April 2017. No word yet from Bethesda or Arkane about a PC demo.
