Far Cry 5 - two player co-op mode - details

Far Cry 5's online co-op mode will be available immediately after the in-game tutorial. Each player will see and collect their own loot. Far Cry 5 will be available on 27 February, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and PC.

Overwatch teams get special skins

Overwatch World Cup will be made all the more fun and watchable with the new team uniforms, an updated UI, a third person smart camera and more. The Uniform concept will premiere at BlizzCon on 03 and 04 November.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. A Collector's Edition is also available. Day One Patch will give PS4 players a 1440p P resolution and 60 FPS.

The team that managed to be first across the finish line for Destiny 2's prestige raid has claimed the title with the generous help of exploits beyond Bungie's awareness. The raid was previously delayed over glitch/exploit related concerns, apparently to little effect.

Rogue Trooper Redux out for all platforms

Rogue Trooper Redux's release date has finally rolled around. The game sees the return of 2000 AD hero Rogue enhanced with HD graphics, remodelled assets, new special effects and more. Rogue Trooper Redux is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Battlefield 1: Turning Tides-a new Operation

Battlefield 1's third expansion will be available in December. Turning Tides will bring a variety of maps set across Gallipoli and the North Sea. A new faction will be available in January.

Doom - coming to Switch in November

Doom for Nintendo Switch will come out in November. The game will feature a singleplayer campaign, an Arcade Mode and various multiplayer modes. A new id Software developer video explaining the game's features was released today.

EA responded to the loot crate criticism by releasing a statement. They are "looking into more ways to allow players to stay and play together as a team". Star Wars Battlefront 2 releases on 17 November.

Epic have announced that Fortnite Battle Royale has had 10 million players since it launch roughly 2 weeks ago. PUBG's current chief competitor still has a long way to go before it can contest the crown of the current king of the growing battle royale genre.

PUBG passes 2 million CCU and 16 million sales

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has reached a new high with its current peak concurrent player count passing 2 million players on the back of over 16 million sold copies. According to SteamSpy most of the new players are from China.

Destiny 2 Prestige raid delayed in order to fix exploit

Destiny 2's Prestige raid was supposed to be already available today for players looking for some higher difficulty pleasures, but the content deployment will be delayed due to exploits that have become apparent during testing.

Fortnite BR is off to a great start with over 500,000 peak concurrent users

The first AAA take on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has entered the arena with reports of more than solid player counts. Epic Games have announced that the Battle Royale free-to-play standalone mode for Fortnite has attracted over half a million concurrent players over the past weekend.

PUBG is close to hitting 2 million concurrent players

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been stirring up various bits of controversy, over the past month. Microtransaction shenanigans, the treatment of streamers, and throwing a bit of a tantrum over copycat projects - quite some bad buzz. Players don't care, as PUBG's heads for 2 million concurrent logins.

ECS - season 4

Faceit’s premiere Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) league, today revealed the full lineup of teams for season 4. The action will be streamed on Faceit's official YouTube channel. Season 4 kicks off on 06 October.

Last chance to play Hawken on PC

Free-to-play mecha shooter Hawken will be shutting down servers for the PC version of the game 2 January 2018. The console versions of Hawken will stay open for business and there is no official word on why the PC original is being shut down.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has passed 1.5 million concurrent players

There is no indication yet of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds slowing down. The battle royale shooter has now passed the 1,5 million concurrent player record on Steam and if the snowball keeps rolling it might become impossible to melt.

The Overwatch League

For its inaugural season, the League will have a toal of 12 city-based teams. One of them is the team from Shanghai. The team, led by Chinese internet technology company NetEase is the first Overwatch League team to have an official name.

Far Cry 5 - to be scored by Dan Romer

Far Cry 5 will feature some original music by Dan Romer. Mr Romer used many Americana instruments to convey the feel of the fictional Hope County, Montana. The soundtrack will be available colse to the game's release.

'Ghost War' has a release date

Ghost War - the upcoming PvP mode for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands has a release date. The mode will be free for those who own the base game. Ghost War will bring eight unique maps into the mix.

EVE: Valkyrie - Warzone

EVE: Valkyrie - Warzone is now out for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game can be played with or without a VR headset. EVE: Valkyrie - Warzone includes all the content and improvements released for EVE: Valkyrie since launch. New ships, maps and loot capsules are also available.

Bluehole is "contemplating" action against Epic's Fortnite Battle Royale

PlayerUnknown's Batlegrounds developer Bluehole Studio is concerned about competitors copying their battle royale shooter, and they have a problem with Epic Games doing so in their Fortnite Battle Royale game mode. The studio is currently "contemplating" action against Epic Games.
