Blizzard is throwing another free Overwatch weekend. The Weekend starts on Friday, 16 February, 2018. PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will all have access to the game's heroes, maps and The Year of the Dog Lunar Event.
Looks like someone's been good this Lunar year. Another free weekend of Overwatch is coming up on 16 February 2018. Well, it was about time, the last free weekend happened sometime in November last year. This particular free weekend will kick off on the same day the actual Chinese New Year begins.
The free weekend will end on Tuesday, 20 February, 2018 at 7:59 AM. Everyone interested will be able to give the online shooter a spin as the event will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

As it was the case during the pervious free weekends, all Overwatch heroes will be at your disposal. Same goes for the game's maps and modes. is in full swing right about now, so you'll have a chance to play Capture the Flag in the first map dedicated to the mode.
All Year of the Dog content will be available during the free weekend so you just might score a shiny new skin while you're at it. Capture the Flag mode will have a four-week long competitive season this year, but if the past free weekends are anything to go by, the competitive facets of Overwatch will be off limits to those who don't already own a copy.
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to access the free weekend from all over the world. For the PC players, however, the free weekend is only available in Blizzard's Americas, Europe, and Asia gameplay regions - excluding Korea.
Pre-downloads on console start on 13 February, 2018, at 7:00 PM GMT. The PC crowd will have to wait until the event is in full swing.
