CoD: BO4 update adds Zombies balance changes

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is said to be performing quite well but until we've gotten our mitts on some proper data to show, let's take a look at the update Treyarch rolled out, which includes a balancing pass on the game's Zombies mode.

As we draw closer to the launch of what already seems to qualify as one of highlights of 2018, Rockstar shed more light on Red Dead Redemption 2's weapons, revealing there will be more than 50 unique firearms with a bunch of customisation.

Full package will cost less in Destiny 2

Bungie have announced that they will be bundling Destiny 2 Expansion Pass with Forsaken on 16 October 2018. Therefore, the price for the full DLC package will cost 40 per cent less, and will include rewards for those who already bought it.

Treyarch are hard at work to keep players interested in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 post launch following a well received beta. One fruit of their labour should be full fledged day and night cycle in the game's battle royale mode - Blackout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gets two trailers

Treyarch and Activision have rolled out two complimentary Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 trailers, one for each of the game's modes - Zombies and Blackout, where the former focuses on familiar ground, meaning the Blood of the Dead story line.

While discussing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in a behind the scenes video, Treyarch hinted that much more content is on the way for PC players, which was the driving reason behind employing Beenox to work specifically on the PC version.

PUBG may not still be eSports ready but that's not going to stop PUBG Corp and StarLadder from kicking off additional professional eSports leagues. The new league will be called PUBG Europe League and is set to commence in January 2019.

Even though Disco Domination strongly suggested boogie bombing it turns out it's a variant of capture the flag, where the only difference is that Epic's new LTM requires you to emote on a dance floor. Oh and the quad launcher is here too.

The Farm 51 have announced that World War 3 will be coming to Steam Early Access on 19 October 2018 and will cost $28. Those who are looking for a Battlefield substitute, but are not into Call of Duty, might want to check this one out.

The Division players may be feeling a bit burnt out after the fairly challenging Shield Phoenix in August and somewhat tedious Talon in September. It should come as a relief that October's Shield, Rebel, is a bit easier to attain.

Rockstar's cross-promotion for Red Dead Redemption 2 through GTA V continues with not just exclusive items, but also GTA Online cash. Normally it would be a nice bonus for players in GTA V, except they are not eligible without a preorder.

Fallout 76 mods are coming, but not soon

Bethesda have confirmed that Fallout 76 mods will be available on private servers, but the mod support is likely not coming until November 2019. If this turns out to be the case, the game might be well on its way to dying off by that time.

Square Enix have managed to stab some monetisation into Just Cause 4 apparently as the game was recently rated for North American audience, stating that it will have "in-game purchases" on all platforms - PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Bethesda-era Fallout games all featured VATS system that would either completely freeze the time or just slow it down. Such time altering abilities would be game breaking in a multiplayer game so Fallout 76's compromise may have ruined it.

Activision have announced that anyone who purchases a physical copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be looking at a 50GB download of the game's day one patch. As for the digital downloads, the day one version of weighs in at 55GB.
