CD Projekt has a celebration going on and the gamers are getting to reap the rewards in the form of a free version of a beloved RPG.
CD Projekt folks are celebrating GOG Galaxy Day and the official blog post noted that having multiple libraries managed from their own client could be eased up by using sorting tools to navigate numerous games.
However, the cream of the crop was the announcement that you can grab The Witcher: Enhanced Edition at no cost. While the game can be obtained for what is basically spare change during sales, looking a gift horse in the mouth is still not the way to go.
All you need to do is download the GOG Galaxy client, open it and go to the store page where you can claim the game for free. Considering it is one of the best-rated games ever by players and critics alike, you should make sure to grab The Witcher while the offer lasts.
This game is 14 years old, don't expect the level of graphics fidelity, polish and detail that The Witcher 3 brandishes but it does have its mid-2000s charm. Also keep in mind that this is the game that kicked off the series and was a huge success at the time, especially given the scope and relative obscurity of CDPR back then.
