Microsoft have revealed the list of games that will join the Xbox Game Pass service in May 2019. A total of eight games will be introduced in the first half of the month and some of the bigger additions include Wolfenstein II and The Surge.

Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service is getting richer for eight new titles in May 2019 and just like at the end of every month, we have a full list of these new games. The biggest name is certainly Bethesda's fast-paced shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus from 2017.

Starting on Thursday, 02 May 2019, Terror Billy and his arsenal will hit Microsoft's service along with Wargroove, a turn-based tactics game from British development team Chucklefish.

In the following week, these two will be joined by three new titles - Black Desert Online, Tacoma and Surviving Mars. Black Desert Online is an MMO with unique combat which recently released on Xbox One, Tacoma is a sci-fi narrative adventure from the creators of Gone Home while Surviving Mars is a city building simulation by Haemimont Games and Paradox Interactive.

A strategic RPG that blends tabletop and roguelike elements For the King will round out the week on 10 May. And last but not least, souls-like sci-fi RPG The Surge and LEGO Batman 3 will complete the Xbox Game Pass offer for the first part of the month on 16 May 2019.

Microsoft probably plan to add even more games in the second part of May, but at the moment, nothing is officially confirmed. Also, the company will hand Xbox Game Pass subscribers the Xbox Customisation pack for Rocket League. This pack includes items such as Wheels, Boosts, Octane Decal and one Player Banner for free.

Those who don't own Xbox Game Pass will also get this pack but it will take a while before the gift arrives on 15 July 2019.

All in all, it's a pretty strong list from Microsoft, and probably one of the strongest lineups in the last couple of months. With more games to come at a later date, May 2019 could be packed with a lot of heavy hitters for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
