Following the rumours and speculation online, Xbox have officially announced Developer Direct for January 18, 2024. The stream will feature first-party titles like Hellblade 2, Avowed and first look at Indiana Jones and more.

Following the very successful debut event in January 2023, Microsoft have today announced another Developer Direct where they plan to show several highly-anticipated titles that are slated for 2024 release.

Developer Direct 2024 will officially air on January 18, 2024, at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 9 PM CET. Xbox confirmed that players can look forward to extended gameplay showcases for five games including Indiana Jones, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, Avowed and ArA: History Untold.

On top of that, expect release date announcements for the majority of these titles since most of them only have "2024" as their target release window.

Rumours also suggest that we might be getting another shadow drop at this event. The game could apparently be Double Fine's Kiln but take that with a grain of salt until we get an official confirmation.

How to watch Xbox Developer Direct?

Xbox Developer Direct will air on the official Twitch and YouTube channels. The show will be streamed in 4K at 60 FPS. A higher-quality video of the full direct will be available after the show.

All in all, I'm really looking forward to this Developer Direct, as it features plenty of exciting games that we've been waiting to play for many years.

Xbox's 2024 looks to be quite the year for Xbox, despite some "unpopular" rumours suggesting that the publisher might start releasing their games on other platforms like Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
