Following a disappointing showing at League of Legends World Championship 2023, MAD Lions are looking to remake a team, possibly with hungrier players in mind.

LEC teams have shown a distinct lack of ambition at League of Legends World Championship 2023 as they were all knocked out before even reaching the quarterfinals of Riot Games' biggest tournament of the year.

Of the four teams, MAD Lions garnered a lot of negative attention from European fans as they failed to score any wins against any teams who are not also European, showing a distinct lack of ambition in the international tournament.

It appears that the shot callers at the organisation share this sentiment as the team will undergo major roster changes for the next season.

According to Sheepesports' sources, the team has already completed negotiations with Alvaro and Supa, the bot lane of Movistar Riders, who had a rather successful season in European Masters, finishing second only to Kameto Corp, who are going to be in LEC from next season onwards.

Neither of the players have previous experience at the highest level of competition in Europe yet, which likely means they will be motivated to achieve success with their new team.

It also appears that MAD Lions' next target is Myrwn, another Spanish player, who should join the aforementioned duo as well as Elyoya in the new roster, which should be rounded out with a yet unknown midlaner.

Melzhet, the new coach coming from Movistar Riders apparently wants a full Spanish roster, which could potentially improve the team's in-game communication and cohesion.
