Six months have passed since one of the most welcoming upgrades in GTA Online history. Players are now wondering will the Imani list expand further?
GTA Online Contract update featuring Dr. Dre was released in December last year, and while it did bring good grinding Contract jobs, it also added Imani tech vehicle upgrades like Remote Control Unit, or the Missile Lock-On Jammer, one per car.
To use these perks, the player would have to outfit his Agency with a Vehicle Workshop, and for a hefty price, he would have a chance to cruise the map in a car without the fear of griefers on MKII lurking.
The only downside of the addition was that it was limited to a couple of cars, with the majority of the GTA Online cars not being able to use Imani upgrades. Most people thought that in time, vehicles will be added to the list, or at least swapped on the list, however, with the exclusion of the Mammoth Patriot, that has not been the case.
The two most popular on the list are Bravado Buffalo and the new semi-new addition Mammoth Patriot. The lore of the Mammoth comes with the fact that it can hold 8 players inside it, making it a great and fun vehicle for large crews. Solo players usually choose Bravado Buffalo.
The current Imani vehicle full list includes the following vehicles:
- Enus Diety
- Dewbauchee Champion
- Bravado Buffalo STX
- Enus Jubilee
- Mammoth Patriot Mil-Spec
There hasn't been any official talk about expanding this list and considering there was only one addition in the six-month life of the upgrade, there doesn't seem to be a plan to expand the list much further.
We could expect a couple of additions in time, but multiple additions or an all-car upgrade system is not on the horizon at the moment, sadly.
The community has voiced their wish for the list expansion but is not actively pushing on the issue, as a lot of players still don't know what Imani Tech even is, and there are reports of players getting reported for using Imani Tech perks quite often.
