Wargaming's massively popular tank warfare simulation World of Tanks is nearing its tenth anniversary, and the celebratory 5-act campaign is ready for Act IV: Overhaul.
World of Tanks' anniversary campaign was split into five acts, each about a month long and covering about two games of the game's development.
Act III: Rubicon, which covered the era of Stronghold's introduction and T-22 grinding in Domination and Steel Hunt, draws to a close tomorrow, and that means it's time for a new set of flashbacks.
Act IV: Overhaul kicks off tomorrow, July 10 at 05:00 (UTC) and will last until August 12 at 05:00 (UTC). It covers the period between 2016 and 2018, but we'll let Wargaming sum it up.
"Back then, the process of reworking vehicles into HD became established, SPGs got the ability to stun enemies, and the game grew sufficient for 60 players to fight one another on a map in Grand Battles. Tank Company and the Waffentrager auf E100 were removed", they reminded.
Much like the rest of the acts, Act IV: Overhaul lets players complete new Anniversary Missions, take part in 7v7 battles and more, all of which earns you anniversary coins that can be exchanged for some sweet inscriptions, emblems and projection decals from the past.
Should you complete all the Anniversary Missions during the active phase of an act, you get the Gold Key, three of which earn you 3D Style for the T30.
World of Tanks Act IV: Overhaul bundle brings three iconic vehicles - (VII) Object 252U, (VII) Rheinmetal Skorpion and (VI) Strv m/42-57 Alt A.2. In addition to personal styles, the bundle comes with an additional all-season look that's made of WoT minimaps.
