The Moroccan information broker with a dark and mysterious past is finally getting a buff. Cypher's quirky sense of humour and interesting voice lines is what kept him a fan favourite, he definitely deserved some love from Riot.

Riot has been repeatedly slamming the nerf hammer on the Sentinels , but it seems like this will change with the newest Valorant patches.

Cypher, the least present sentinel, is finally getting a buff. His Trapwire is getting a length buff, now players can place his wire on wider rooms (Maximum Trapwire length increased from 1000 to 1500). Also, the Trapwire will no longer be destroyed by teammate AOE abilities.

The second buff is related to his Ultimate ability. Now, Neural Theft will reveal the enemies two times (instead of just once) and there will be a four-second delay between the reveals.

Neural Theft's time restriction has been removed and Cypher can now cast on any enemy body at any time he wishes. Also, the maximum cast distance has been increased from 1200 to 1800 (finally, don't have to be on top of a body to scan it).

Lastly, the yellow silhouette used for scanned enemies has also been modified as a QoL change. It will glow slightly dimmer and it will fade faster so it'll be more distinguishable from an enemy. On top of that, the yellow silhouette disappears when an enemy becomes visible to the player.
