Ubisoft have revealed Rainbow Six Siege Operation Wind Bastion operator teasers, but it seems various branches of the company messed up with communication so both Kaid and Nomad essentially got leaked. The former has an official reveal.
Ubisoft have seemingly leaked Kaid on Weibo, the Chinese social platform similar to Twitter, ahead of the scheduled reveal. The initial leak was in low quality though, but the new defender's name, Kaid, was clearly visible. This is the same operator Ubisoft referred to as the Commander before, but it seems like they are calling him The Traditionalist now.
Despite the name, his gadget seems contemporary, if not futuristic and is what seems to be an area denial tool that seems to work the same way as Bandit's Shock Wire. Perhaps it will not require a metal surface in order to shock enemies though, and fans are speculating it might have fewer charges due to being more useful. Kaid's outfit may hint at the operator not being a three-armour-one-speed defender.
There were no weapons shown in the so his full loadout is still a mystery. Meanwhile, Nomad had quite the opposite story as her weapon was shown, but not the gadget, not entirely at least. Nomad will carry a weapon from the AK-47 family, although it's not clear which exact designation it might carry.
The weapon was outfitted with a laser sight, and likely with an underbarrel attachment that's not visible in the teaser, as she clearly shot several projectiles that seemed to move somewhat slower. Nomad's gadget was therefore technically unseen, but its functionality was clearly visible - it sends enemies flying. Ubisoft really weren't kidding when they said Nomad is an expert in pushing the enemies back.

Both operators will be officially revealed through gameplay on 18 November 2018, during Pro League Finals in Rio de Janeiro. Coincidentally, Nomad seems to have been by Ubisoft Brazil, at least according to the language of the reveal video.
