After four years of silence, on this day, two years ago, Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter came alive with a simple, yet massive hype building tweet that only said "beep".

Cyberpunk 2077 was announced way back in 2012 and since then all the way up to 2018, CD Projekt Red were completely silent about their upcoming RPG title. No trailers, screenshots or any other details were provided but two years ago, on this day, Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter profile come up with a simple but now iconic tweet that said *beep*.

It marked the beginning of CD Projekt Red's marketing campaign for Cyberpunk 2077 and soon after that we got a proper trailer and gameplay demo. 10 January is a pretty special day for CD Projekt Red since the original teaser trailer was also released on this day, seven years ago.

Of course, many excited fans are anticipating something new today but you should probably lower your expectations just in case. Ever since the Deep Dive video, CD Projekt Red did not reveal much, only a couple of gorgeous looking screenshots which is why fans are hoping that the devs could celebrate the *beep* anniversary day with fresh content.

Senior Event Manager at CD Projekt Red  Pawel Panasiuk recalled the moment when the *beep* tweet occurred by sharing a photo from the studio. "2 years ago [Marcin Momot] finally typed in the correct password for Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter and *beeped*," he wrote.

All in all, it would be nice to get some fresh Cyberpunk 2077 details or footage but even if CD Projekt Red decide not to share anything, it's only a couple of more months until the official release, so we don't have to wait for too long to dive into the Night City.
