Echtra Games and Perfect World Entertainment have rolled the final Torchlight 3 trailer ahead of tomorrow's launch, and it should get you up to speed with everything the game offers.
Torchlight 3 takes place after the events of Torchlight 2, of course, when you've done away with the corrupted Alchemist. Thankfully, the successor is bigger and badder in every respect, so there won't be a shortage of things to do.
Players can choose between four classes, each catering to a specific playstyle, be it brawling face to face or taking endless potshots from afar. Additionally, there are 20 class and five Relic combinations along with skill points, for maximum customisation of your character.
Torchlight 3's Railmaster is an archetypal member of the former camp, as he traverses the landscape with a train companion and specialises in dealing whole lotta damage in very little time. Hammer-time.
Dusk Mage may be more refined but is just as brutal as the Railmaster. Torchlight 3 players get to choose their own path - the light path hones your skills for maximum single damage, while the dark arts are more suited for area-of-effect skills.
Sharpshooter is pretty self explanatory - lean, mean, killing machine that deals worlds of hurt with every attack. It goes without saying that it's a glass cannon type of character, but hey, you need to catch him/her first.
Last but not least is the Forged, a hybrid powerhouse or as the trailer aptly called it, "sword-wieldin tin can of whoopass". Forged enthusiasts get to have the best of both worlds - ranged power galore, along with some impressive cleanup abilities.
We can't forget the lovely furry and feathery companions of Torchlight 3, but we'll let you see that for yourself. Let's just say they're not all bark and no bite, that's for sure.
