Vicarious Visions have released the latest update for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, where they focused on online party play and other multiplayer features.
According to their latest tweet, players will now be able to enjoy previously unavailable modes, so you could say in a way that it's the community who brought about the latest Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 improvements.
So, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 now allows for private skate sessions, party migration and leader promotion, which in short means more online play and more control over it.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will let you play friends in private matches, with the choice of maps covering both the stock ones and Create-a-Park maps. Last but not least is the Free Skate, although we suspect there will be more changes to this part of the game.
The reason we're saying that is that many players are mostly soloing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, which eventually makes for a more tedious experience. Unfortunately, the game doesn't allow for rooms where you could host Free Skate lobbies for randoms, and this means you better have a bunch of friends online.
In fact, some players are already complaining that they were expecting more, as the promises of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2's online play would normally entail.
That said, we'd trust Vicarious Visions to come through on more improvements in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2's online play, and we'll certainly be keeping an eye out.
