The Surge 2 Season Pass is now available for purchase and the publisher Focus Home Interactive has revealed everything that is coming in the post-launch content updates. There are new weapons, gear and story chapter.
The developer Deck 13 and the publisher Focus Home Interactive are looking to add more content to their sci-fi, souls-like RPG The Surge 2. Today, we have a first look at planned post-launch additions that will be arriving in the next three months.
Starting in November 2019, The Surge 2 will introduce the first update which packs 13 new weapons. At the moment, it is unclear if all of these weapons will arrive at the same time or the devs plan to add them progressively. On top of this, everyone who gets the season pass will receive the exclusive BORAX-I Quantum weapon.
Soon after the first update arrives, players will also get more gear sets. In December 2019, three new gear sets will be added to the game and you can take a closer look at them in the image below.
And last but not least, In January 2020, Deck 13 and Focus Home will introduce the final update for their RPG. Named The Kraken, the last addition brings a new story but the details about this new adventure are pretty scarce at the moment.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, The Surge 2 features brutal combat that allows you to tear the limbs of your opponents to steal valuable equipment and use it for upgrades on your character. It's a pretty hard game where every enemy encounter means death so keep that in mind before you decide to give it a go.
