If you're one of the previously unfortunate fans, the Ellie Edition will be available for preorder in the US and Canada really soon. Note that the quantities are limited so you may want to be punctual with the following, "starting Thursday, February 13 at 6:00am PST at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart.com, Target, and EB Games for $229.99 USD / $299.99 CAD MSRP."
Additionally, if you happen to swing by Naughty Dogs' booth between 27 February and 1 March 2020, at PAX East, you'll get a chance to play an hour worth of gameplay in the Patrol mission. This is still the early part of the game, but the dev stressed that The Last of Us Part 2 is in the finishing touches stage.
Naughty Dog also posted the last few pieces of key art for The Last of Us Part 2, but if figurines are more of your jam - they've got you covered there too. You can take a closer look at the Ellie With Machette statuette in the video above.
The game's predecessor, The Last of Us, has recently been named by the PlayStation Blog, finishing with a grand total of 11 per cent of votes. Once you glance at the competition though, you'll realise just how big this is.
