Zenimax Online launched The Elder Scrolls Online back in 2014 and the game is currently celebrating its ninth anniversary.
As a part of the celebrations, the MMO is free to play until Monday, April 17, 2023, during which time the players may or may not decide to purchase the game.
If they do, the title and a whole lot of expansions are discounted by 70 per cent so you can get it at bargain price, except for the latest expansion, which is Necrom.
Even without it, there is still plenty of content to go through in the game, as the $16.5 / €16.5 package nets you the base game and all the existing DLC except Necrom.
Keep in mind, however, that the game is also littered by microtransactions and an optional subscription service but it can be enjoyed without those perks as well.
After all, having a week to try it out will give you enough time and experience to make an educated guess about whether it's worth going in deeper.
Alternatively, there is also just the base game that can be picked up for $6 / €6 until April 20, 2023, when the sale wraps up.
