Ravenswatch is one of the most anticipated roguelites of early 2023 but it is also suffering from major issues, almost a week after EA launch.
Passtech Games and Nacon launched Ravenswatch into Steam Early Access on April 6, 2023, with many gamers anticipating to get into the game and enjoy the dark version of classic fairytales.
It was not meant to be, however, as many players, including us, found themselves stuck before even getting to log in.
The issue is the same for everyone - DX12 Error 0x80070057.
It is still unknown what causes the problem and unfortunately, there is no workaround for the time being.
The devs outlined a few possible workarounds but the players are generally reporting they are not working. That said, Passtech also noted on release day that they are aware of the problem so it is probably one of the team's priorities, hinting that the fix is coming soon.
Unfortunately, they didn't provide any kind of ETA so for now, it is just a waiting game.

Ravenswatch is currently on a 10 per cent discount, which will end on Thursday, April 13, 2023, so if you want to get in before the fix this may be the only incentive.
You should also weigh your options if you are thinking about a refund, since it will be back to regular price by the time the update comes around.
