Zenimax and Bethesda announced that Elder Scrolls Online players will now have access to the Morrowind content even if they didn't purchase it.

Elder Scrolls Online is preparing for the High Isle Prologue and to that end, the devs wanted to make sure the players would get to experience the story as it's meant to be, which means everyone needs to experience Vvardenfell.

As such, Zenimax and Bethesda gave access to Morrowind DLC to all players, starting on April 12, 2022. The announcement states the DLC will remain free for the foreseeable future so there is no need to hurry with claiming it.

On that note, players should get access to the DLC automatically upon logging in but if that doesn't end up being the case, they will be able to claim the content from the in-game Crown Store, at no cost.

This DLC will provide permanent access to the Vvardenfell zone and the associated storyline, Halls of Fabrication Trial and the aforementioned High Isle Prologue which is still to be released.

However, the freebie will not include the Warden class, which will still remain premium content and will need to be paid for. The price will likely remain at 1,500 Crowns.

Some of the highlights in the Morrowind DLC include the Sadrith Mora mushroom towers, the lifeless Ashlands and more.
