The Day Before is finally set to launch on December 7, 2023. Or is it? According to the developer Fntastic, the trailer which you can check out above, is the final trailer for the game, which is now finally ready for shipping after many delays and controversies.
To celebrate the release date reveal, Fntastic and publisher Mytona also announced that The Day Before has returned to Steam and released a fresh press release on the official website, revealing new details and confirming the release date and time.
Fntastic confirmed that due to the scope of the game and potential issues, they will launch the game in Steam Early Access and steadily introduce new content over time.
The devs also added that the full release will only come when they are 100 per cent sure the game is ready and that the console version will be launching alongside the full PC release.
If you followed The Day Before closely since it was announced a couple of years ago, you're probably familiar with many suspicious delays and controversies surrounding the game.
The situation got so bad that the majority of players started to believe that The Day Before was not even real. The devs released several videos to address the concerns, revealing the inside of their studio and new gameplay, trying to reassure the players that their shooter is indeed real, just needs more time in the oven.
We sincerely hope that The Day Before is finally launching on December 7 and that this is the last time we're writing an article about the game's release date.
