Steam Strategy Fest is bringing more than just discounts to the table and we would like to draw your attention to this particularly juicy demo.

Tempest Rising is possibly the most anticipated RTS of 2023 since the game pays homage to the old-school strategies, especially those from the Command and Conquer line.

Much like the good old C&C, Tempest Rising features multiple factions and for the first time ever, the demo contains the Tempest Dynasty (DYN) playable faction.

Some of the faction's units include the missile trooper, ignitor and the havoc rocket buggy but that's only the properly militarised party. DYN can also recruit civilian militia as an ally by completing side objectives.

You will be able to play the opening mission for each of the factions, meaning that if you missed the previous playable demo, you will not miss out on anything if you give it a shot this time around instead.

Global Defence Forces (GDF) remains playable in this demo, along with its first mission. GDF units include the drone operator and sentinel scout car.

Base building is featured in the demo, although the first mission serves as sort of an introduction to the game so don't expect all the buildings and features to be incorporated there.

Tempest Rising doesn't have a release date yet but it is expect to launch at some point in 2023, if not in early 2024.
