Tango Gameworks, one of the studios shut down by Microsoft recently, was working on two unannounced titles before they ceased to exist according to a LinkedIn profile of the former Tango Gameworks employee.

Microsoft recently shut down several studios that were developing games under the Bethesda Softworks brand, including Tango Gameworks, which was responsible for games such as Ghostwire Tokyo, The Evil Within franchise, and last year's critically praised Hi-Fi Rush

Some of those studios were shut down while working on new content and projects; such was the fate of Arkane Studios, who were putting the finishing touches on the DLC for Redfall

Tango Gameworks also had two new unannounced projects in the works according to the LinkedIn account (via Timur222) of a former ZeniMax Asia K.K. employee, Tsuyoshi Okugawa, who was a programmer there.

On his LinkedIn page, the top of the experience tab lists two important jobs: Unannounced Title Graphics Programmer 2024 and Unannounced Title Lead Programmer 2023-2024. The other two jobs are related to the Ghostwire Tokyo project.

For those unfamiliar, ZeniMax Asia publishes video game titles under the Bethesda Softworks label in Asia and helps Tango Gameworks develop their games since both studios were based in Tokyo, Japan.

It's not clear what these cancelled unannounced games were since Okugawa did not provide additional details but recently it's been reported that Tango were in the process of pitching Hi-Fi Rush 2 before Microsoft decided to shut them down.

It's also possible that one of the games was a new Evil Within but the sad part is that we'll probably never know.

We'll probably never get another Hi-Fi Rush game which is a massive shame

When Microsoft purchased Bethesda, no one could have predicted that so many studios working under their wing would be abandoned in this manner, but that's the gaming industry nowadays for you. We can only hope that Microsoft will put a stop to the unpopular pattern of closing high-quality studios, such as Tango Gameworks. If nothing else, their achievements speak for themselves more than any business strategy or reports.
