As T1 secured a resounding victory against Weibo Gaming, Faker and Keria have now finalized their champion choices, solidifying the lineup for the T1 League of Legends Worlds 2023 skins.
The tradition of Worlds skins, commemorating a team's triumph in the League of Legends World Championship, involves each player selecting a champion they played during the tournament for their unique skin. This longstanding tradition has seen the creation of iconic skin lines, such as the Fnatic line, and most recently, the DRX line.
Following their dominating performance in the finals, T1 players had previously hinted at their preferred champion skins. Now, with Faker and Keria confirming their selections, all five champions for the Worlds 2023 T1 skins are officially determined.
Worlds 2023 T1 Skins
- Zeus (Top): Jayce + Prestige
- Oner (Jungle): Lee Sin
- Faker (Mid): Orianna
- Gumayusi (ADC): Jinx
- Keria (Support): Bard
The selection process included some deliberation, particularly regarding Zeus's choice between Yone and Jayce. Ultimately, Zeus opted for Jayce, emphasizing its significance among his most-played champions.
Oner expressed a longstanding desire for a Lee Sin skin, making it his clear choice. Gumayusi had previously confirmed his preference for a Jinx skin during a press conference.
Keria initially leaned towards Renata Glasc but later announced a shift to Bard as his final decision. Finally, Faker, often regarded as the G.O.A.T of the Mid Lane, sparked anticipation by initially hinting at Ahri.
However, he surprised many by ultimately selecting Orianna, a champion integral to T1's victories throughout the tournament.
