The Stellar Blade again brings an update oriented towards what the players want—this time, it's new Eve outfits and a few more minor quality-of-life improvements. At comparative values, the latest Shift Up's patch is small but offers two new outfits and a few features that will come in very handy.
The first outfit, "Destroyed Denim," is now purchasable through Roxanne's shop in town. Unlike most updates, which tend to include reskins of already-existing outfits, "Destroyed Denim" feels like an entirely new—albeit welcome—addition to Eve's wardrobe.
The second outfit is granted upon completing the Raven Boss challenge on hard. Well, this new outfit seems like a derivative of the magician outfit that was brought in with the last patch, though opinion would have it that the traditional casual denim outfit might still be the rule with players for a long time to come.
Quality of Life Changes
A few quality-of-life improvements have made their way into the update, significantly improving the gaming experience. One such change that would arguably be the most welcome would be the ability to change Eve's hairstyle directly from the menu.
This new option makes it much easier compared to visiting the hair salon with the old method that players could do. Among other things, it adds the toggle on and off of the cutscene display UI. It makes replaying the game, to some experienced players at least, much more enjoyable with this very minor change.
Final Thoughts
In the end, the latest Stellar Blade patch brings two new outfits, along with some really lovely, nice quality-of-life changes, into the game. The "Destroyed Denim" outfit and a new boss challenge reward give more customization options to the players.
At the same time, the ease in modification of hairstyle and management of cutscene UI settings make things easier for the players.
