According to a leaker who shared a couple of screenshots from an early build of Bethesda's Starfield, the game is currently scheduled to release sometime in 2021.
Earlier this week, screenshots of what appears to be Bethesda's next major title Starfield, appeared online. Apparently, these screenshots are from the early, 2018 build of the game, which makes sense since the game in the images certainly lacks a lot of details.
Today, the leaker who shared these screenshots has revealed even more details about the game, as well as some brand new in-game shots.
The leaker claims that Bethesda are currently targeting 2021 as the release window for Starfield. While this does sounds realistic, we suggest you take the info with a grain of salt, just like every other rumour, leak or unconfirmed info.
That being said, we would not be surprised if Starfield indeed arrives sometime in late 2021. If we had to guess, early 2022 is probably more realistic date since COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down development of many upcoming heavy hitters, and Starfield is probably another title that has suffered a delay internally.
Bethesda did not talk much about Starfield ever since they revealed the game at E3 so we don't really know what to expect from this ambitious project.
All in all, some pretty exciting rumours but sadly, nothing official just yet. If you want to take a closer look at these new screenshots and info, check out this post on Reddit.
