Spider-Man 2 release date coming in Autumn 2023, according to Insomniac Games writer

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is apparently targeting the Autumn 2023 release date, according to information from Insomniac Games writer's portfolio.

Following yesterday's listing on the official PlayStation store , today we have more news about the highly-anticipated Marvel's Spider-Man 2 . It seems the target release window for this superhero action adventure is Autumn 2023.

That's according to Insomniac Games' writer who mention the release window in their portfolio as you can see in the screenshot below. The portfolio has since been updated to remove the word Autumn and now only says 2023, which is the official release window for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, confirmed by Sony and Insomniac.

Spider-Man 2 is the next big chapter for the franchise; will be "darker" than the original

Our guess for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 release date would be sometime around Holiday 2023 given that Sony and other big publishers usually target this time period for big releases.

Of course, it's always possible that the game development hits a couple of obstacles on its way towards the release so the launch date gets pushed a bit, perhaps in early 2024.

Okami/Twitter Spider-Man 2 expected to release in Autumn 2023

Hopefully, that won't be happening and given the experience within Insomniac Games, we don't have any doubts Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is right on schedule.
