Sniper Elite 5 will be launching on PC, last-gen and current-gen consoles sometime in 2022, Rebellion confirmed.
Rebellion today announced that their popular franchise Sniper Elite is returning in 2022 with a fifth game in the series, which will take players to 1944's France to destroy Operation Kraken.
The game will be launching on all major platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Also, it will arrive to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on day one, which will certainly make Game Pass subscribers happy.
To celebrate the release window reveal, Rebellion shared a brand new trailer, which features the iconic kill cam shots and gives us a closer look at some of the locations that we will be visiting in the game.

Here's a short description of the game's setting and story:
"As part of a covert US Rangers operation to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the coast of Brittany, Karl makes contact with the French Resistance. Soon they uncover a secret Nazi project that threatens to end the war before the Allies can even invade Europe: Operation Kraken. It’s Karl’s mission to take out the high ranking Nazi officers and end Operation Kraken once and for all."
Rebellion also promise a PVP feature that will allow players to invade other players' campaign and/or invite a player to their campaign for additional help.
