Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's biggest free content update in series' history dropped earlier this week and today we got a shiny new patch just in time for the weekend. Can we get a round of applause, please! The chicken will live to see another crosswalk.
The new patch notes reveal that Shoot House 24/7 is back. It will replace Crash 24/7 and give the players what they wanted. We're pleased to report that bargaining with poultry did the trick.
Hardcore modes will lose the night maps after the update is applied. This news has divided Reddit but everyone remains civil. For now. Grazna Raid and Arklov Peak have been added to Hardcore TDM and Arklov Peak can now also be found at Hardcore Headquarters.
The coveted update brought some general fixes as well. Now when you go to see your weapon details in the Missions tab you won't be kicked back to the Main menu. On top of being back in Gunfight map rotation, Docks will no longer have that one cargo ship clipping through the playable area.
Fixes for Special Operations: Survival's respawn flare now works as intended. "Just Reward" - the HTV truck will stop crushing into parts of the map. Don't drink and drive, kids.
Some players have reported that they were unable to see or shoot down an opposing team’s Counter UAV, and the dev team decided to fix that one as well. Had the "Jack Frosty" and "Old Wounds" world models appearing differently than the Armory/Gunsmith models problem? Worry no more. It has been fixed.
