According to the latest rumours, Valve have a brand new VR title in works along with Half-Life Alyx. It's their co-op zombie shooter series Left 4 Dead.
Valve's Left 4 Dead series is probably one of the best if not the best co-op experience you can play right now. Fans have been asking for more zombies to shoot for years but Valve are yet to announce a brand new Left 4 Dead game.
Of course, a lot of rumours and leaks surfaced in the last few years, claiming that the company are working on a new title, but nothing has been officially confirmed as players still continue to seek fun in the first two titles.
However, that could change in the future as Valve apparently have a new game in works. According to Tyler McVicker, the creator of Valve News Network YouTube channel that brings exclusive Valve-related news and leaks, the new Left 4 Dead game is going to be a VR title.
McVicker tweeted his latest information, claiming that Left 4 Dead VR is real and in development but unfortunately, he did not reveal additional details. He also claims that new Half-Life Alyx news are coming on The Game Awards 2019. "Boneworks is out on Tuesday. Left 4 Dead VR is real. The game awards is in a few days, with new Half-Life Alyx news. Get your minds ready, it’s about to blow," McVicker tweeted.
To us, this new Left 4 Dead VR info doesn't come as a surprise. Valve recently released their Valve Index VR device, which is at the moment, the best headset you can get, and it was expected that more VR titles would be coming from Valve's kitchen to boost the sales of the device. After all, there is no better way to sell a bunch of Index headsets than by announcing two brand new games, from the iconic series.
At the moment, it is unknown when exactly Valve plan to reveal Left 4 Dead VR. We would say that it's coming sometime after Half-Life: Alyx but this is just a wild guess.
