Battlefield gamers, there’s a new community hunt to get involved in. Hunt: Signal Override is a limited-time event running on Discord where players will attempt to solve a series of puzzles. Correct answers will slowly unlock new Season 5 content for the whole community.
Set to run throughout the next week, a new mystery will be unlocked daily. Players will have to keep notes on their answers, as they’ll eventually be pushed towards a weekend puzzle and final mystery challenge.
How Does Battlefield’s Hunt: Signal Override Work?
Every day, a new mystery will be revealed to the Battlefield community through the official Discord event channel. Players will then have three attempts to correctly solve the mystery and privately submit their answer to the Battlefield Bot.
Each time a player solves a mystery correctly, it pushes the community closer to a collective threshold. After enough players get the correct answer, the community will unlock a new Season 5 reward or preview.
Players are encouraged to collaborate with each other and propose theories in the Discord channel. However, in order to submit an answer, players will have to privately message it to the bot.
That also serves another purpose for holding onto your answers. Players will be required to answer all four daily mysteries for the weekend puzzle, followed by one last mystery on Monday.
How to Unlock the Emberbrush Soldier Skin
Players who participate in Signal Override can earn themselves an in-game reward. To unlock the Emberbrush Soldier Skin, you’ll have to correctly solve at least two of the daily mysteries.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind if you want to nab yourself the new skin. Players must remain consistent with the same Discord account throughout the event and allow direct messages so the Battlefield Bot can send you a notification that you have qualified for the reward.
When Will the First Mystery Release?
The first Signal Override mystery will drop at 19:00 CEST / 11:00 PT today.
With a new puzzle dropping daily, and the community’s progress impacting on the rewards and previews players can unlock, Battlefield’s newest Discord event will have players working together to solve mysteries until Season 5 arrives.
