If you’re planning on hitting the harsh, snowy northlands of Norgan soon enough in Dragon’s Dogma 2, Capcom just released the full launch dates, pre-load availability, and installation file sizes for Dark Arisen.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen will launch on different dates based on your region. Users within North and South America will be able to play starting Thursday, October 8, 20, while users within Europe, Asia, and Oceania will launch globally on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Specific launch times by region on Steam and Xbox are as follows:
- Los Angeles - 17:00 PDT (Oct 8)
- New York / Toronto - 20:00 EDT (Oct 8)
- London - 01:00 BST (Oct 9)
- Berlin - 02:00 CEST (Oct 9)
- Riyadh - 03:00 AST (Oct 9)
- Singapore - 08:00 SGT (Oct 9)
- Tokyo / Seoul - 09:00 JST / KST (Oct 9)
When will Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen be available for preload?
Players will be able to preload Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen beginning Wednesday, October 7. This means most players should have between one and two days to complete their downloads before servers launch.
File sizes for Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen differ between platforms. On PS5, the update is only 17.060 GB, which installs along with Title Update 04.000.000.
On Xbox Series X|S and PC, however, file sizes are much larger at approximately 66.92 GB to 70 GB.
