It's finally happening. After more than a decade of waiting, we're getting Grand Theft Auto 6, and today, Rockstar confirmed when we'll get to see it for the first time. The world premiere of the reveal trailer is coming on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9 AM ET or 3 PM CET for us in Europe.
Rockstar confirmed the date with a gorgeous art that shows palm trees and gradient orange/pink sky in the background with the Rockstar logo and details slapped in the middle.
Sadly, the publisher did not provide additional details but we expect the official trailer countdown on YouTube, Twitch and other platforms very soon.
At the time of writing this article, Rockstar's announcement of the trailer date has nearly 200k quotes and over 400k likes on social media X. That's just 30 minutes after the post was published. Yes, the hype for GTA 6 is unlike anything we've ever seen before.
GTA 6 reveal trailer should introduce us to the game's main two protagonists, which are reportedly a brother and sister. We'll also get to see the fictionalised version of Miami, which is the game's setting, and plenty of other exciting things like the release date.
GTA 6 obviously does not have a release date at the moment, but you can bet that we'll get at least a release window of late 2024 at the end of the trailer.
Whether or not the game releases on that date, well, that's a different story but we certainly would not be surprised with a delay or two.
