Rise of the Ronin is one of the biggest upcoming action RPGs and today, we have some fresh information about this PlayStation 5 console exclusive, which is in development by Nioh developer Team Ninja.
The information comes from reliable industry leaker Snitch who posted exclusive screenshots and story and gameplay details on his Discord channel. According to the leaked content, Rise of Ronin will be a mix of Assassin's Creed, Dark Souls and Ghost of Tsushima and it's currently planned to launch in Q1 2024.

Here is everything about Rise of the Ronin that the leaker shared via their Discord:
- The game is a mix of Assassin's Creed, Ghost of Tsushima, and Dark Souls
- Many item descriptions are used to make the lore bigger and better
- e.g: "(...)It was produced in the craftsmanship style associated with a renowned blacksmith named Okisato Nagasone, who lived in Musashi during the 17th century and was also known as Kotetsu.(...)"
- Numerous side-quests that are more like Ubisoft side-quest designs
- Difficulty options
- Skill and technique trees
- Performance and quality modes (trying to improve fidelity before launch)
- Planned romance options
- Planned Q1 2024

As always with leaks and rumours, take everything with a grain of salt until we get an official confirmation. The screenshots certainly look legit and the details sound possible since the reveal trailer did give off strong Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin's Creed vibes.
Rise of Ronin is officially scheduled to launch sometime in 2024 for PlayStation 5. The game should also launch on PC.
