The expected retro shooter Selaco is now available to everyone in the early version, and it puts before the players 30 maps that will introduce us to the first of three planned chapters.
Three years ago we witnessed the official presentation of the retro shooter Selaco, which takes its inspiration from the cult shooter F.E.A.R. and at the same time it also combines traditional FPS elements like we saw in the early DOOM and Quake games.
The impressive trailer was later followed by a demo version that left a positive impression on the audience, and now players will have the opportunity to play a significantly larger piece of the game through the early access version.
Namely, Selaco focuses on the single-player experience as the full game will have a campaign that spans three chapters and an emphasis is placed on the plot and the world.
The locations we will be shooting at will be interactive in terms of how the bullets will react depending on the surface and the objects they hit. In translation, anything and everything will fly across the screen.
When you add to that the writing of customized artificial intelligence, whose actions and behavior are inspired by F.E.A.R. and the quality feeling during shooting, an interesting and fun product is in sight.
The early version currently contains 30 maps, 11 upgradeable weapons and over ten types of opponents, and it is mentioned that the game already has a high level of polish.
They should play the full version at the end of 2026, because it is planned to work between 12 and 18 months per chapter. It is also announced that the game will receive updates pending the new chapter which will include additional polishing, bug fixes and new modes
