Madfinger Games' first-person extraction shooter Gray Zone Warfare brings players to South Asia in order to emulate a real world faction-based conflict. The game's early access is currently available for purchase on Steam. Now, without further ado, let's return to our Gray Zone Warfare guide series, starting with a mission that is playable by all factions.
In this new mission titled Too Close to the Sun and What Comes Up, you must retrieve a black box from a plane crash near the Pha Lang Airfield POI of the map and then extract it out of there alive. Although you can easily blast your way through this task, you will need to follow a few crucial steps to make it out alive after completing the mission objective.
How to Complete the Too Close to the Sun and What Comes Up Task
From your operations base, head to the Pha Lang Airfield POI, then follow the runway path and make your way to these exact coordinates at 192, 151 after landing at the Golf 2 LZ. Here's the exact location of the fuel tanker on the map:
Here's a clear look at the plane crash:
Once you arrive near the plane crash, you might find a few enemies guarding the area. Slowly eliminate these enemies before approaching the plane crash site. Head to the back part of the plane crash once you clear the area of enemies. Now, grab the black box from broken tail part of the crashed plane.
After you retrieve the black box from the plane crash site, slowly make your way out of the area. Then head over to the Golf 2 LZ near the Pha Lang Airfield and your quest will be complete. However, make sure to not die on your way to the extraction point to successfully complete the task.
