Respawn Entertainment officially revealed that Apex Legends Season One: Wild Frontier is coming tomorrow - 19 March 2019. The first season brings a new legend - Octane, along with the battle pass which includes brand new Legends skins.
After weeks of speculations and rumours about the release date and a new Legend, Respawn have officially announced Apex Legends Season One: Wild Frontier.
The first season is finally starting tomorrow - 19 March 2019, 10:00 AM PT / 6:00 PM CET and it brings a new Legend - Octane, and Battle Pass with more than 100 items.
The Battle Pass will be available in two versions - the standard one, which can be purchased for 950 Apex Coins or $9.50 and Battle Pass Bundle which costs 2,800 Apex Coins or $28 and unlocks your next 25 levels and their respective rewards instantly after purchase.
Those who buy the Battle Pass will also get instant access to the Lifeline Revolutionary skin, the Wraith Survivor skin, and the Mirage Outlaw skin. On top of that, items that you can earn throughout the Season One include weapon skins, banner frames, intro sounds, XP boosts and Apex Coins.
Everything you earn before the season comes to an end will, of course, be yours to keep forever. Respawn is also gifting some items regardless if you buy the battle pass or not. Everyone who plays Apex Legends Season One will get one Wild Frontier Legend skin, 5 Apex loot boxes, and 18 Wild Frontier stats trackers.
All the rewards that are available in the Wild Frontier Battle Pass are exclusive to Season 1 and will never return to the game after the season ends, so if there's something on the list that caught your eye you better ready yourself for the grind.
Respawn explained that they didn't want to build the first season around complex challenges or quests, instead the goal was to let the players continue to learn and experiment with the core Apex Legends experience while earning neat loot at the same time.
The developer said that future seasons will evolve and become more innovative with a lot of "cool ideas".
