Resident Evil Revelations is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally and at retail. This version has been updated to feature HD visuals and an improved framerate. All previously released DLC is included as unlockable rewards.
Resident Evil Revelations launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across Europe digitally and at retail today. The game's story is told in an episodic format, from the perspective of several different playable characters. The title features series’ veterans Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they investigate the reportedly abandoned "Queen Zenobia" cruise ship.
Resident Evil Revelations shares the director, Kōshi Nakanishi, with this year's Resident Evil 7 biohazard. This version has been updated to feature HD visuals and an improved framerate. All previously released downloadable content is also included in the game as unlockable rewards.

The co-op Raid Mode returns in this release with a remixed stage called The Ghost Ship: Chaos,. The stage offers a "fresh take on the popular map with more powerful weapons and ways for players to upgrade their arsenal".
A Nintendo Switch release of both Resident Evil Revelations and its follow up Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also be available in late 2017.
Resident Evil: Revelations was originally released for Nintendo 3DS back in 2012. The following year, Capcom released high-definition ports of the game for PlayStation 3, Wii U, Windows PC and Xbox 360. In addition to HD visuals and improved lighting, the console and PC ports had an extra difficulty mode, new playable characters and more.
