Capcom announced Resident Evil 2 Remake 1-Shot demo which will go live on 11 January 2019. The demo will offer players a chance to try out the game for 30 minutes with infinite lives to spend. It will be available on PC and consoles.
Resident Evil 2 Remake is just around the corner and Capcom have decided to offer players a chance to try out the game for 30 minutes. Dubbed 1-Shot, the demo is a bit different from the norm as it sets certain objectives that players have to complete before the timer runs out.
According to Capcom, players will have to solve puzzles and find a way out of the Racoon City Police Station. That will not be an easy task as the entire building is crawling with zombies between Leon and safety.
If it happens that you finish the demo before the timer hits 30 minutes you can restart the mission and use the rest of the time to explore the city. If you get overrun, Capcom has you covered with unlimited tries so you can start over until you hit the 30-minute mark.
The end of the demo has a cinematic trailer and even though you won't be able to play it again once the time expires, you can watch the trailer as many times as you want.
The special demo event will go live on 11 January 2019 on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox Store and it will run until 31 January 2019 which means that you have the opportunity to try out the game even after launch. Why Capcom decided not to keep it up indefinitely is anyone's best guess.
In other Resident Evil 2 Remake news, a full list of PlayStation 4 trophies has been revealed on PSN Profiles forum recently and for additional info on the upcoming survival horror, you can read more on small changes to Leon's story which didn't go well with some fans.
Resident Evil 2 Remake will release on 25 January 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
