Rainbow Six Siege's latest leak suggests that the game is about to get a Wild West themed event revolving around a bank robbery. The event will apparently be complimented with themed skins for enough operators to fill both of the teams.
Rainbow Six Siege is leaking again, nothing new here. This time around, the leaker posted a 36-second long audio file containing narration in a thick western accent which is the hallmark of the Wild West era.
According to the little info that could be extracted from the audio itself, it seems like one team will attempt to steal some gold while the others will attempt to defend it. This leads us to believe it could be a reskin of the Bank map, in a similar manner that Plane was changed for the April's Fools event.
Furthermore, there are currently that were leaked almost a month ago that are clearly cowboy and robber themed. This means one skin has still not been found since the attacking team is currently lacking one. It could also mean the new mode might actually pit four attackers against five defenders but this theory is unlikely.
The attackers who are getting new skins are Ash, Glaz, Maverick and Capitao while the defenders are Rook, Caveira, Kaid, Alibi and Maestro. It will be interesting to see if Ubisoft will actually deploy Alibi's clone in a working condition so they can show her with the equipped skin, rather than the default one.
It seems like the attackers will actually be the lawmen in this scenario since the states that Graveltop gang stole the gold from a bank and are now hunkered down "until horses were brought around" hinting that this will be a timed defence map.
Ubisoft
While it sounds kooky to get a Wild West event with all the high tech gadgets, such as Alibi's holograms or Maestro's Evil Eye, it would be far from the weirdest thing we've seen in the game. Remember the alien invasion we fought off and are now getting a standalone game based on it?
