Rainbow Six Siege developer and publisher Ubisoft have released a new patch on the game's test server with a couple of big additions and tweaks. It's pretty hefty update with the first iteration of the Vulkan Graphics API implementations along with balancing changes and traditionally, tons of bug fixes.
The Vulkan API was added to increase the performance and reduce the CPU cost but unfortunately, the devs had to revert this change due to several major issues that appeared on the test server. "Due to crashing occurrences on the TS, we've reverted this change and will investigate and update when we know more," Ubisoft wrote on Reddit.
Another big tweak comes to Morrocan defending operator Kaid. Ubisoft say they are amping up Kaid a bit and getting his juices flowing by giving him a bit more flexibility and creativity wit his setup. The radius of his Electroclaw has been increased from 0.75 M to 1.3 M which is a big boost. This means that in some places, a single claw could electrify up to three walls which adds more flexibility to defence, which usually requires both Bandit and Kaid.
ACOG has been added to BOSG after several months of campaign on Twitter. BOSG is one of these weapons that require extra accuracy, it's a double-barrel shotgun after all so adding ACOG to the list of supported attachments is a sound decision.
The patch also brings some positive changes to Glaz, to help players spot enemies easier, tweaks Ela since she is one of the strongest operators, especially on console. For more details on these and other changes, you can take a look at .
