As the new season is closing in on Rainbow Six Siege, there have been some changes made to the overall road map. Ubisoft have tried to work as closely with the community as possible and try to listen to them as much as they can.
Patch in and patch out, Ubisoft has shown improvements in the formation of the bond with its community and this road map update further more proves that they do listen.
Firstly, the highlight of the update is the Frost rework being postponed. Before everyone gets their hopes up, the rework will go live at some point in the season just not right at the start of it.
Next, the much-needed Grim buff part 2 has been pushed forward to be released with the launch of season 3. The first buff was set out in season two and the original release date of the second part of the buff was supposed to be season 4 but the developers have managed to make it happen in season 3.
We do not have any details as to what the buff 2.0 is but the developers have reassured us that there will be more details about it very soon.
Quick Match 2.0 has also been confirmed to launch in season 3 along with a slight reputation system update and player commendation system which at the moment does not have that many known details but rather hints at what it might be. Again, Ubisoft reassure us that more details regarding that will be revealed to us soon.
