Ubisoft makes sure that every new season reveal is marked with a very nice reveal trailer for whatever content the season might bring. This time around the community seems to be getting a simple tweet announcing that more content will be revealed on August 13 at 11:30 AM PT.
Rainbow Six Siege has followed a very simple pattern of new releases where a new season starts very shortly after the end of the current season's battle pass.
Keeping that in mind, we can speculate that the new season should be expected to launch in roughly 20 days or in the period around August 23 or just around the time battlepass of Operation Dread Factor is set to end.
Now, there is sadly not much to expect from the new season aside from Quick Match 2.0, a mysterious event that is yet to be revealed and the rework of Frost that the majority of the community labelled as unnecessary and simply destructive to the operator herself.
For those who don't know, Ubisoft plans to rework Frost in a way where her traps no longer fully injure operators but instead just down them. Now this might not seem as that big of a deal but those who are downed by Frost's Welcome Mat will have the ability to pick themselves up and walk without the ability to run.
The players are not that upset by the lack of content in the upcoming season given that the previous season featured an upgrade to the Shooting Range, a rework to Consulate, a new gadget and the very anticipated permanent Arcade playlist.
