Ubisoft has revealed the system requirements for Rainbow Six Extraction and thus showed that a large variety of rigs can run the game.

Rainbow Six Sieg ...err, Extraction, has finally received system requirements, roughly two weeks ahead of the launch. Other than the storage requirements, the specs look rather tame and pretty good overall. Ubisoft folks certainly look confident with the optimisation as they have released a detailed table of what you need for various performance targets.

Low (1080p)

  • CPU - Intel i5 4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD RX 560
  • RAM - 8GB
  • Storage - 85GB

High (1080p)

  • CPU - Intel i7 4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or AMD RX 580 8GB
  • RAM - 16GB
  • Storage - 85GB

High (1440p)

  • CPU - Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
  • GPU - Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT, 6GB in both cases
  • RAM - 16GB
  • Storage - 85GB

Ultra (2160p / 4K)

  • CPU - Intel i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 
  • GPU - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 10GB or AMD RX 6800 XT 16GB
  • RAM - 16GB
  • Storage - 94GB (9GB reserved for HD textures)

The old workhorses GTX 1660 and RX 580 are still good for running games with higher settings which is always good to see, especially if you own one of these GPUs that offer some of the best bang for the buck from all of the past decade.
